Sydney Uni Baseball Preseason 2026

Preseason trials are set for Wednesday evenings at USYD.

USYD students will be invited to hit the field first on 25th February and 4th March, with community players invited on 11 March. From 18 March, all players will get together, with two weekend trial dates following for all players wanting to cement their spots (details TBC).

Sessions run from 6:30-7:30pm at The Square for fielding and then 8–9:30pm at the TAG Grandstand Training Facility for batting (no cleats allowed at TAG). Registration will be before fielding so make sure you get to The Square by 6:15pm!

The club is looking to field teams in the Sydney Winter Baseball League and Pacific Coast Baseball League, with spots available from the highest level of NSW baseball to those who may be new to the game but keen to learn.

There will be a selection of bats, helmets and gloves for players to use if needed. Hope to see you all there!
