Blues and Golds

The awarding of Blues began at Oxford and Cambridge Universities and is a tradition found at British and Australian universities.

The Sydney Uni Sport & Fitness (SUSF) Blues Committee may award a Blue to any individual student of the University of Sydney, competing in the highest level sporting competition, who has achieved outstanding sporting excellence in a 12 month period.

The SUSF Blues Committee may award a Gold to any person in recognition of outstanding and sustained service to a Constituent Club or SUSF over a period of at least ten years. Baseball Gold awards are generally bestowed following an outstanding tenure of administrative service to the Club.
