PCBL Teams Finals Bound

Two of our teams in the Pacific Coast League are headed to the finals! 

Both teams have shown great consistency by remaining 2nd on the ladder all season. C1 is led by Anthony Carroll and our C2 team is led Matt Jones.  

SUBC C2

This Saturday 16th August our C2 team face off against Baulkham Hills. With two washout during the season, our C2 team went down to Baulkham Hills 6-2 in their last encounter. 

So this weekend C2 are looking for redemption and securing a Grand Final spot.

The key to winning will be in our hitting. We have been strong in chasing down leads all season. 

Our defence will keep us in the game, but we need to ensure those bats stay hot till the end for the win.

SUBC C1

On Sunday 17th, our C1 team face cross-town rivals, WS Boomers. In their previous two games, SU C1 got the wins on both occasions. 

But each game was very close with only 2 runs separating both teams in each game. 

The difference lay in good hitting late in the game by C1 to come away with the points. 

So SU C1 are expecting another tight tussle with the WS Boomers and hoping to make it 3 game wins against them to clinch that Grand Final spot. 

We have been good at getting big leads all season and then defending them. 

So the key to winning will be continue with this strategy and use our strong pitching and walk away with the win.
