Vance Borland Scholarship

Vance Borland was a baseballer and is a 1963 Arts and Social Science graduate of The University of Sydney.

To be awarded for the first time in 2023, the Vance Borland Scholarship will assist a current student of The University of Sydney who plays baseball and has experienced significant financial disadvantage throughout the course of their enrolment at University (and/or for first-year University students, during their NSW HSC (or equivalent) year).

Ideally this Scholarship, valued at $1000 per annum, will be used to help successful candidates with covering the financial costs associated with representing Sydney University in the baseball competition at the UniSport Nationals.

Importantly, applications open this Friday 7 July and close Friday 21 July 2023.
